I shopped around a few of the flower stores in Ithaca and then kept coming back to this one. It has a great selection and the quality of the flowers is great. I've come here every year to get flowers for Valentine's Day. I ordered ahead of time, but they have enough to supply late comers. I always appreciated that they didn't mark up v-day flowers too much. I thought the prices were still reasonable. The one downside is the location. Michaleen's a bit of a drive especially from the Cornell campus. I didn't have a problem since I had a car, but it's tough to get without one.

The most beautiful arrangements, and most importantly the stems are in plastic water tubes to keep them fresh! In addition, you will find whimsical holiday wreathers here. Buy your wreath before Thanksgiving because they sell out fast.

I got flowers here for my wedding. Everything was really fresh on a really hot day and everyone commented on the beauty of the flowers. They worked with me throughout the process even when I changed my mind several times. The store itself has a lot of ready made bouquets, dried flower arrangements, flowers, and other little knick knacks. Some of the salespeople were a little pushy, but relented when I held my own.
